Cat Battle Armor

Completely hand-made from durable veg-tan leather, this is no mere costume piece. Your cat will become an unstoppable force for slaughter in this fully articulated suit, shielding him/her from foes while allowing unimpeded movement across the battlefield or living room floor.

The imposing torso section features several riveted, articulated plates and a terrifying rack of dorsal spines. Your cat’s hindquarters are sheathed beneath exquisitely arrayed overlapping scales stitched to a soft leather backing, adorned with nickel silver dome rivets.

“How did you get your cat to wear that? My cat would KILL me.”

We just took it slowly and carefully with her. While we were constructing the armor, we made sure Selani was around to get used to the look, feel, and smell of it, and gave her positive reinforcement through extra petting and treats when she approached.

When we put it on her, we did it gently and over a long period of time, cuddling her in our laps and letting her move away whenever she wanted. We put it on her for frequent short periods of time, always lavishly rewarding her when doing so.

About Heretic

I design video games for a living, write fiction, political theory and poetry for personal amusement, and train regularly in Western European 16th century swordwork. On frequent occasion I have been known to hunt for and explore abandoned graveyards, train tunnels and other interesting places wherever I may find them, but there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that I am preparing to set off a zombie apocalypse. Nothing that will stand up in court, at least. I use paranthesis with distressing frequency, have a deep passion for history, anthropology and sociological theory, and really, really, really hate mayonnaise. But I wash my hands after the writing. Promise.
